Our Mission
To provide evidence-based outpatient addiction treatment that honors the dignity and individuality of each person. We look past the symptoms of addiction to the circumstances in each client's life that shape their recovery.
Our Story
Mountain View Health is an outpatient addiction treatment clinic in Seattle for adults 18 and older. Addiction affects each person differently, so treatment should not follow one set of rules.
Tanner Monstad founded the clinic in 2021. Mountain View Health is Joint Commission accredited, keeps a 3:1 staff ratio, and has a board-certified physician.

Our Purpose
To provide evidence-based outpatient addiction treatment that honors the dignity and individuality of each person. We look past the symptoms of addiction to the circumstances in each client's life that shape their recovery.
We envision a future where every person struggling with addiction can reach compassionate, evidence-based outpatient care that fits their life.
Philosophy
Treatment at Mountain View Health builds practical skills for cravings and relapse prevention, with medication available when a prescriber decides it fits.
CBT and DBT are used as skills for cravings, relapse prevention, and distress tolerance.
Treatment includes individual therapy and group therapy with the clinical team.
A prescriber decides whether medication fits your treatment for opioid or alcohol use disorder.
Why Mountain View
Mountain View Health is accredited by the Joint Commission, also known as JCAHO.
Conversations with admissions are confidential, and benefits verification starts from a secure form.
The clinic has a 3:1 staff ratio and a board-certified physician.
A prescriber decides whether medication fits: buprenorphine or naltrexone for opioid use disorder, and naltrexone, acamprosate, or disulfiram for alcohol use disorder.
Partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, virtual intensive outpatient, and outpatient care let your plan step up or down as needs change.
The clinic does not provide detox, inpatient, or residential care. Admissions can coordinate medical withdrawal management elsewhere first.
Our Story
The clinical team builds each treatment plan around your substance use and your health needs, and adjusts it as your recovery changes.
